A not so great week

Here are pictures of Maddie and Addy on Memorial Day. They have matching outfits, Maddie in preemies and Addy in 6 months, amazing how fast they grow. The same day we had a little cousin, yes Johanna and Robby had their baby. Johanna made it to 39 weeks, the longest she has ever gone. It is a little boy, Asher Ezekiel, 7lbs and some ounces, all natural, no drugs. Way to go Johanna!! He is very healthy and doing great. Christian took to him right away, it took Eli about a week to acknowledge him but he likes him now.

This week was not so great for our family but it has gotten better. Kris had some major deadlines at work, Addy and I went to work after we got off and helped him for four hours on Tuesday. On Wednesday Kris and two out of the three co-workers in his office got violently sick to the point that the hospital shut down their office to be professionally cleaned and told them not to come back for three days which threw all his deadlines out the door. I came home and scrubbed the house down and thankfully Addy and I have not gotten sick. He is pretty much back to normal today. The same day Robby's store that he is a manager at got closed out of the blue, they offered him a severance package, or to move, or to take a demotion and work at Castleton (very scary when you have three kids). He worked out a deal and is getting about the same money and only has to work 40 hours a week, which is awesome b/c he usually works about 50-60. So it ended up being a blessing. Then Maddie was put in the NICU b/c she has been doing this coughing throw up stop breathing thing and they wanted to run tests and monitor her. Everything has come back fine so far. Last week Al and Sue sold their house, well this week the inspection came back with some stuff that a contractor had messed up and the potential buyers were almost backing out, but it sounds like it's going to get fixed and they will be moving to Indiana to live with us at the end of the month. And I had my first Algebra test, which if you haven't had algebra since high school it is a little nerve racking. So the week started bad but is ending better. I start Monday as the Kindergarten teacher at my school, I have a lot of work to do but it's going to be great, I'm excited.

The best thing about this week is Adyson rolled over twice!!!
